What kind of a leader are you?

Before we go into reading about leadership and gifted students, take a few minutes to assess your own leadership type and abilities.

Handout 1: Leadership Style Inventory

Handout 2: Determining your Leadership Style

Handout 3: Leadership Characteristics

Please make sure you open these in order, since one leads to the next. Fill out the Style Inventory (Handout 1) (which has the directions for handout 2). Using handout 2, see where you stand in terms of leadership. Finally, using handout 3 answer just the first segment, indicating the 5 areas you feel are most important for a good leader. When you are done, please continue on to the Discussion Forum post for Topic 5.1.
